\nJodie Foster\u2019s son Charlie, 26, makes rare appearance at the SAG Awards 2025\n
A night out with her son!\n
Jodie Foster brought her son, Charles \u201cCharlie\u201d Bernard Foster, 26, as her plus-one to the 2025 SAG Awards on Sunday, Feb. 23, in Los Angeles, Calif., marking a rare night out for the famous mom and her eldest child.\n
Charlie walked the SAGs red carpet with his famous mom, 62, who wore a stunning beaded and burgundy gown. Wearing her short hair straight, Foster accessorized with two bold cuffed bracelets and a large ring \u2014 but her best addition was her date.\n
Her son looked handsome in a classic dark suit with a white dress shirt and a black bow tie. Posing alongside each other, Charlie smiled with pride while hugging his mom, who is nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a TV movie or limited series for \u201cTrue Detective: Night Country.\u201d \n

Foster plays Elizabeth Danvers in the HBO crime drama series. The role has already earned her two wins during the 2025 award season.\n
Foster shares Charlie and her other son, Christopher \u201cKit\u201d Bernard Foster, 23, with her former partner, Cydney Bernard.\n
It\u2019s a rare moment for the mother-son duo \u2014 especially since Foster kept her acting career a secret from both of her boys.\n
In 2024, the Oscar winner shared that she sheltered her kids from her acting career, letting Charlie and Kit believe that she was a construction worker during their childhood.\n

\u201cI guess I just didn\u2019t want them to know me that way,\u201d Foster explained during an appearance on \u201cThe View\u201d last year. \u201cI wanted them to know me as their mom and the person who went away to work and stuff.\u201d\n
\u201cI just didn\u2019t want them to be confused about what I did for a living,\u201d she continued.\n
\u201cI brought him [Charlie] to set one day and I bought him a little plastic tool belt and stuff,\u201d Foster said. \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018Yeah, and this is this set and this set and this set.\u2019 And for a really long time, he thought I was a construction worker.\u201d \n
Despite trying to keep her sons out of the public eye and the industry, Charlie has followed in his mother\u2019s footsteps. Not only did he act in several plays in school, but he stole the show when his mom appeared on Jimmy Fallon\u2019s \u201cThe Tonight Show\u201d in January 2024.\n

When Fallon told the actress he was \u201creally excited\u201d to meet her oldest child, the camera panned to him in the audience.\n
\u201cThat\u2019s a supportive son right there,\u201d the late-night host said. \u201cWe love you Charlie!\u201d\n
After winning the award for best actress in a miniseries or motion picture for \u201cTrue Detective\u201d in January, Foster gave her sons a shout-out during her acceptance speech.\n
